2010:
Feb 24: Featured Pianist, National Public Radio's "From the Top," Show #214, Iowa City,
Iowa Show. Show will air May 31, 2010 on KSUI 91.7FM and classical stations around the country.
Jan 16: Winner, Central Iowa Symphony's 2010 Young Artist's Competition. Student
performed his winning piece, Mozart's Piano Concerto in D minor, KV466, with the Central Iowa
Symphony on March 6, 2010 at Ames City Auditorium.
2009:
Fall: Feilin Lin's Piano Studio alumnus, Sarah Gillespie, commenced undergraduate piano
studies at College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), University of Cincinnati (6th ranked piano
program in America per U.S. News & World Report). Sarah was accepted into the CCM piano
studio of Professor Awadagin Pratt.
Nov: Honorable Mention (Lower Division), Seventeenth Annual Young Artists Piano
Competition, Missouri Western State University, Missouri
Sep: Gold Medal Winner (Senior Division), Seattle International Piano Competition
Summer: Feilin Lin's piano student accepted by & attended internationally famous Aspen Music
Festival and School, which is applied to and attended by selected pre-college, university
undergraduate, and graduate piano students from around the world. Feilin Lin's piano student
attended 4-week summer piano camp & performed at Aspen Radio broadcast recital a week
after arriving Aspen.
Apr 11: The Gift of Music - A Piano Benefit Recital. April 11, 2009, 7:30 to 9:30p.m., The
Englert Theater, Iowa City, Iowa. Performers: Feilin Lin and her piano teachers and piano
students from Feilin Lin's School of Piano. Feilin Lin organized the event to help The University
of Iowa School of Music receive flood relief funds and help sponsor The Englert Theatre. Upon
Feilin Lin's request, West Music generously loaned a 9-foot Steinway for the charity event.
2008:
Nov 15: Sixteenth Annual Young Artists Piano Competition, Missouri Western State University,

Sep: Live Performance of Six of Feilin Lin's Piano Students at The Sondheim Center, Fairfield,
Iowa. Feilin Lin organized the event to help pay for the center's 9-foot Steinway piano.
